A few kilometers from Marina di Bibbona, surrounded by the shady pine forest that characterizes the Tuscan coast, there is the largest amusement park in the region: the Cavallino Matto. Opened in 1967, this park continues to be a popular destination for the whole family.
Surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation, which creates a charming atmosphere, the park has dining options and outdoor picnic areas. Each Cavallino Matto attraction is designed for the enjoyment of young and old, and every year new attractions are added to cater for children of all ages.
Highlights include the adrenaline-pumping Project 1 roller coaster, the 50-metre-high Shocking Tower, the Yucatan, a giant wheel swinging at high speed, and Wild Mine, a roller coaster with old mine carts instead of wagons. The park also offers a 4D cinema, battles with splashes of water at the Bay of Buccaneers and the first stand-up coaster in Italy, where, secured standing on the roller coaster, you can reach 90 km/ h.
For children, the Cavallino Matto has a play area with ponies, slides and an educational path that simulates road traffic, ensuring fun in a safe and educational environment.
